Rare Gund brand stuffed monkey. Things that make this a very sought after doll: GUND ( founded by Adolph Gund) in Connecticut in 1898. It holds the distinction of being the first soft toy manufacturer in the United States. The gold and brown color scheme is different than most which were brown and white. This doll is the 1976 Hot Lips model known as Zippy. Zippy distinctly has a heart shaped nose and eyes made of glass. Known for their softness and durability, still good condition!
