Beautiful Korean souvenir doll from the Korean War era. She is handmade... stuffed with straw, has an outer cloth body, what looks like real human hair, and a beautifully hand painted face.She is wearing traditional Korean silk dress. The doll comes in a wooden case with both the name of the sender in Korea and the receiver, a Dean at a University in NC. She is holding dried crepe paper flowers and sits atop a wooden stand. She was a gift from the individual in Korea to the prof likely 1950s.
