antique Chinese childs urn

had this piece for almost two years and finally got a definite on it. this is a Chinese/Japanese.. eastern origin child's urn. made of red cherry burl wood. looks almost cracked glass..ish,but is very smooth. used to be sealed with wax,and yes sadly it has had a occupant before.there is no makers Mark/brand)model#. I was told by a expert at a crematorium somebody yes quite a few decades back out a lot of time and effort into this piece. I'ma 44yr old grown man and when I say.got emoti. mesgfd
