Cajon percussion box seat

handmade percussion instrument, played with bare hand thumping, while sitting on the box, itself. I made it with an internal snare that I made from 9x pieces of chain ( each 11" long) each is secured to a spring-rod on both sides, stretched against the inside of the front face of the drum. I also attempted to optimize the sound projection of this one by adding a "drum head" as the bottom surface, which is made of a very thin sheet metal. it sounds great!
