Created after incarceration, this work symbolizes expansion beyond confinement open farmland, mountains, windmill, fencing, and a horse facing forward into space. The raised black border is hand-layered using shoe polish, creating a tactile, glossy contrast against the matte graphite landscape. Original 11×14 Bristol board. One of one.
