Steel Clad Bath Company of New York. Made in 1895. Baked porcelain over galvanized metal (exterior).The interior, where the person would be, is all copper. The tub supports/legs are brass over copper or all brass. The rim is finished with oak trim all around. The vent wheel, drain plug and inlet/outlet brass piping is all original and present. This particular bathtub was a true sign of wealth and nobility during that era. All the metal areas are coated with cosmolene to prevent corrosion.
