Fürstenberg Porcelain factory is the second oldest German china producer, with Meissen Porcelain Factory being the oldest. In 1859, the manufactory was leased to private individuals and was finally converted into a public stock company in 1888. In 1966 it became a limited liability company (GmbH). The factory is still producing porcelain today.
